What is Plasma Skin Resurfacing?
The Alma Opus Device uses heat energy to convert nitrogen and oxygen in the air into plasma sparks. These plasma sparks cause a mechanical and thermal effect to create controlled micro-perforations and ablation. The mechanical effect of the treatment stimulates Epidermis tissue regeneration and the thermal effect reaches the deep dermis to stimulate fibroblasts and causes collagen regeneration.
This treatment is great for skin issues like fine lines, wrinkles, textured skin, dull skin, acne, acne scarring, traumatic scars, pigment, and pore reduction. This device can be used on the face (including upper eyelids and around the mouth), neck, decollete, and body.
This device is not a laser and considered safer than laser skin resurfacing. Outcomes are similar to CO2 Laser Resurfacing with much less down time. Average down time is 3-7 days of facial redness and textured skin. A series of 3-7 treatments is necessary for optimal results.

| Dark Skin Starter Program (Fitzpatrick IV – VI) Best for those with darker skin, including Middle Eastern, Asian, and African American.
