Late Cancellation / No-Show & Pre-Payment Policy 

At Alternative Health Associates, our practitioners reserve appointment time specifically for you. We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your appointment and provide adequate notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. To help us serve all patients fairly, please review our policies below. 

Appointment Confirmations 

You will receive a confirmation at the time of booking AND a reminder email/text 48 hours before your appointment. 

Please carefully review your appointment date and time for accuracy. 

Please confirm your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
If you do not confirm, your appointment may be cancelled and considered a late cancellation. 

1. Standard Late Cancellation / No-Show Policy 

To avoid fees, please cancel/change more than 24 hours before your appointment. 

  • First late cancellation or no-show: $50 fee
  • Any additional late cancellations or no-shows: Fee increases up to the full amount of the missed appointment

These fees must be paid before future appointments can be scheduled.
 We reserve the right to require pre-payment to hold future appointment times. Pre-payments are forfeited in the event of a late cancellation/no-show.

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled by calling 703-683-5736.

2. Specialty Appointments Policy

This category follows a different policy than our standard cancellation rules.

For appointments including, but not limited to:

·      Any combination of Injectable Treatments (Filler, Sculptra, Radiesse, PRP/PRF, Kybella)

·      Plasma Skin Resurfacing

·      Face Consults (required for first time clients)

A $100 pre-payment may be required at the time of booking (*unless you have a prepaid package for the service).

This $100 may be applied toward:

  • Same-day treatments
  • Medical-grade skincare products
  • A treatment with Serenna booked within 2 weeks of your initial face consult

If you choose not to proceed with treatment or product purchases, the $100 pre-payment will be applied as payment for your appointment time.

If you late cancel or no show then you will forfeit the $100 as a missed appointment fee.

*In the case of a prepaid package, you will be required to pay the $100 fee in order to rebook a future appointment.

Please arrive on time for these services—adequate time is essential for treatment.

3. Credit Card Authorization & Agreement

I understand and agree to the following:

  • I must cancel appointments more than 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • If I do not provide timely notice through a confirmed phone call, I authorize Alternative Health Associates to charge the applicable cancellation fee to my card on file.
  • Pre-payments taken to reserve appointments may be applied toward services or forfeited in the event of a late cancellation or no-show.

Please Note

  • Alternative Health Associates does not offer refunds for individual services or package purchases.
  • No refunds are issued for rendered services.
