Dermaplaning

This non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment uses a surgical blade and feathering strokes at a 45-degree angle to remove build-up of surface dead skin cells and vellus hair on face and neck. (Not done on front of neck, chest). Dermaplaning promotes deeper product penetration, boosting the effects of facial treatments and skincare products. Benefits include reduction of acne scarring, helps improve hyperpigmented skin, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and gives the skin an immediate glow.

*Contraindications include active acne-grade 3 or above, hirsutism, folliculitis barbae, significant amount of moles & skin tags, cold sores, cancer, and Accutane or Isotretinoin use. You must stop Retin-A 5 days pre and post treatment, wait 1 week post Botox and Filler injections, and clients prone to PIH must take melanin suppressants Pre- and post-treatment for at least 2 weeks.
